  17. According to the 060 docs someone sent me from the
  18. motorola FAQ, the 060 is pin compatible with the 040.
  19. The difference is the power supply.  The 060 is a 
  20. 3.3V chip.  I don't know about the 040, but I *think*
  21. most 040s are 5V devices.

  23. So, unless a board is designed to work with differnt
  24. voltage levels for the CPU, an 'upgrade' would probably
  25. mean a board swap.  (Or, maybe not.)  How is the
  26. 040 mounted on the Warp Engine?  If it's on a 
  27. daugterboard, it might just require a daughterboard 
  28. swap.
